Your speed is also different on all of those. So it's hard to just compare damage listed there.

You could go autoattack on a Training Dummy if you'd like to compare them more accurately :)

So, you basically your trading 47% attack power for speed? I ask druids that when you go on cat form should increase not decrease your attack power.

No, you are not trading AP for Speed. You are trading swing (in this case paw swing) damage for speed.

Druid forms have fixed base swing timers (= weapon speed does not matter, only DPS of the weapon), so in cat form your white attacks will deal lower damage, but much more frequent.

So if you hover your mouse over the "damage" field in character window you will see your "damage per second". Considering your current stats that should show higher value in cat form (but the difference should not be that huge).

On the other hand what makes a cat superior in single target dps is mostly the abilities you have and the frequency you can use them.

But if you are using "Maul glyph" and have multiple targets in melee range your damage might be higher using Bear form (since you are hitting two targets with one attack, and multiple mobs are hitting you, so you will have enough rage to use your abilities).

Math is your friend.

feral bear: (151 dmg  + 193 dmg) / 2.44 s = 141 dmg / s
feral cat: (71 dmg + 88 dmg) / 0.96 s = 165 dmg / s
