Hello Sunwell!❤️

In this thread we would like to summarize all the changes that are going live on 24.06 - which marks the launch of 3.2.0 patch on Frosthold.

Most of 3.2 patch changes are already live due to the fact that our realm is technically on 3.3.5a patch, so all the changes regarding spells, talents, battlegrounds, arenas are already active.

Trial of the Crusader as well as Trial of the Champion will be released on 24th June at 6 P.M (CEST). Vault of Archavon's new encounter - Koralon the Flame Watcher will be available on the same day as well. VoA will be closed from Wednesday morning until 6 P.M due to implementing new boss.
Other mentioned changes will go live few hours earlier, after realm update around 10:00am Realm Time.

Ending of Furious Gladiator season is scheduled at 21st June at 23:00 Realm Time after the arena flush, all rankings from all brackets will be snapshotted at that time. Also after the flush arenas will be disabled for few hours, once they are back, you'll be able to play, but these fights won't be considered as part of Furious Gladiator season, also there will be no additional arena flush. Summarizing the season will take place after looking through the data, which may take up to 2 weeks.

Relentless Gladiator season starts 24th June around 10:00am Realm Time, after server restart.

General

Raids and Dungeons

  • Trial of the Crusader / Trial of the Grand Crusader will yield Emblems of Triumph, 3x per boss.
  • All raids and dungeons which yielded Emblems of Heroism or Emblems of Valor (all dungeons, Naxxramas, Obsidian Sanctum, Eye of Eternity, etc) will yield Emblem of Conquest in the same quantity as previous emblems.
  • The award for completing daily heroic quest (boss): 2x Emblem of Triumph. Daily quest for dungeon trash: 1x Emblem of Conquest.

Items

PvP

  • Knight Dameron and Stone Guard Mukar will sell 232iLvl legs for 40x Wintergrasp Mark of Honor and rings and wrists (226 iLvl) for 15x Wintergrasp Mark of Honor.
  • Deadly Gladiator's weapons will be available for Honor Points at Brom Gayserstick npc in Dalaran Sewers. He won't sell Hateful Gladiator's weapons anymore.

Argent Tournament Grounds

Boosted ToGC 25 HC

We have decided to boost some of encounters in unique way. Starting from Faction Champions raid should be really careful because last three bosses may bring a lot of troubles.

Boost: description.

The Beasts of Northrend

Gormok the Impaler: 11,9m -> 16,66m
Snobold Vassal: 809k -> 1,132m
Boost: Snobold Vassals will continue to throw Flames when being on the players.
Boost: When Gormok dies, living Snobold Vassals from his back will jump on players instead of being dropped on ground.
Acidmaw: 6,693m -> 10,709m
Dreadscale: 6,693m -> 10,709m
Boost: Enrage will increase worm total damage by 200% instead of 50%.
Icehowl: 18,128m -> 22,66m

Lord Jaraxxus

Lord Jaraxxus: 26,5m -> 37,1m
Mistress of Pain: 943k -> 1,320m
Felflame Infernal: 310k -> 434k
Nether Portal: 806k -> 1,128m
Infernal Volcano: 806k -> 1,128m
Boost: Lord Jaraxxus will cast Touch of Jaraxxus on two players.

Faction Champions

All Faction Champions bosses will have their health increased by 35%.
Boost: Each of champions will get one new ability:
- Death Knight: Death and Decay
- Druid Balance: Starfall
- Druid Restoration: Wild Growth
- Hunter: Multi-shot
- Mage: Mirror Image
- Paladin Holy: Beacon of Light
- Paladin Retribution: Consecration
- Priest Discipline: Spirit of Redemption
- Priest Shadow: Mind Sear
- Rogue: Killing Spree
- Shaman Enhancement: Feral Spirit
- Shaman Restoration: Chain Heal
- Warlock Affliction: Seed of Corruption
- Warrior: Shockwave
Boost: There will be new four champion classes: Druid Feral, Hunter Beast Master, Shaman Elemental, Warlock Demonology. They will be chosen from champions pool randomly but with some restrictions (e.g Hunter BM and Warlock Demo can't be present at the same time).
- Druid Feral abilities: Mangle; Rake; Swipe; Berserk; Prowl; Dash; Feral Charge; Barkskin; PvP Trinket
- Hunter Beast Master abilities: Arcane Shot; Intimidation; Beast Within; Frost Trap; Disengage; Detterance; Wing Clip; 20% dmg reduction if any of hunter's pet is alive; 2 pets - Loque'nahak & King Krush, PvP Trinket
- Shaman Elemental abilities: Lightning Bolt, Chain Lightning, Flame Shock, Lava Burst, Earthgrip Totem, Totem of Wrath, Thunderstorm, PvP Trinket
- Warlock Demonology abilities: Felguard as pet; Soul Link; Demonic Empowerment; Healthstone; Metamorphosis; Immolation Aura; Shadow Cleave; Shadow Bolt; Death Coil; Fear; Incinerate; Immolate; Curse of Agony; PvP Trinket
Boost: There will be new permanent boss that will appear on every attempt - Demon Hunter
- Demon Hunter abilities: Dual Wield; Sinister Strike; Saronite Barrier; Evasion; Shadow Flames; Shadow Prison; Eye Beam (flight phase); PvP Trinket
Damage and cooldowns of new champions abilities are optimized and adjusted to the condition of the raid.

The Twin Val'kyr

Eydis Darkbane: 39m -> 56,62m  62,47m
Fjola Lightbane: 39m -> 56,62m  62,47m
Boost: Touch of Darkness and Touch of Light debuffs will damage the whole raid instead of only damaging the player with the debuff.
Boost: Twin's Pact will heal Val'kyrs to full health if it's not interrupted.
Boost: Every ten five orbs explosions (Concentrated Light or Concentrated Darkness), both Val'kyrs gain +5% total damage buff. This buff stacks until the boss is defeated/wiped. It counts for both type of orb blow-up: if orb was soaked and if it exploded dealing damage.

Boost: Damage done to Val'kyrs when they are close to each other (up to 15 yards) will heal them instead of hurt. Moreover, Val'kyrs will only take damage from players if they have them on target, therefore doing aoe or multidotting will not be efficient on this encounter.

Anub'arak

Boost: Nerubian Burrowers, Swarm Scarabs and Anub'arak gain additional 50% health points.
Boost: Swarm Scarabs spell debuff Acid-Drenched Mandibles lasts for 120 seconds.
Boost: Phase 3 starts at 40% Anub's actual health.
Boost: Anub'arak gains visual blue flame aura. This makes him deal Frostfire damage from all Frost sources instead. This includes: Freezing Slash, Penetrating Cold and Frost Flames.
Boost: Frost Flames: Anub'arak will leave blue flames upon his underground form aside from Pursing Spikes. Flames will remain until boss evade/defeat. They have cap of 120 ticks and will spawn no closer than 5 yards to each other.

General boost: Acidmaw, Dreadscale, Icehowl, Lord Jaraxxus, Mistress of Pain, Felflame Infernal & Twin Val'kyrs will have melee damage increased.

Resets

  • What will reset: Arena Points, Team Rating, MMR and Commendation of Bravery.
  • What will NOT reset: Honor, Wintergrasp Mark of Honor, Stone Keeper's Shards, Wintergrasp Commendation, Champion Seals, Emblems, Dalaran Jewelcrafter's Tokens, Dalaran Cooking Awards, Transmog Tokens

Resets will happen with realm update on 24.06 at morning, so you have over 2 days to spend AP.

Icy Prism is "Unique", you can't have more than 1 per character.

Is the dude in charge of the buffs pimpin' vodka when thinking of these ideas or what? You got Twin Val'kyr, that drops the BIS BIS BIS items for melee, and you make it so guilds have to class stack casters? Where is the sense? Why would u enforce class stacking? Can we get the drunk guys reasoning for this or what?

 

Sunwell Team: Sure, we will consider a change to bring more balance for melee vs caster usefulness on this encounter. Enjoy your evening.

Hello,

While having overtuned content might bring some sort of purpose for high-end raiding on the table, i hope you guys internal-tested this or plan on testing it further. I mean, the buff is kind of creative with adding more classes with different abilities, or even changing / adding some mechanics or hp boost. BUT! Even if the majority of players voted for this, i hope you implement proper buffs & testing before release, and don't just go overboard with it. Otherwise it could do more harm than good.

Anyway, i think you guys did a good job with the server so far and i expect the same further.

You must add 1 raid of 10 man per week and 1 raid of 25 man per week. People will choose what to try nm or hc. TOC is too short and this will be an good idea to keep peps up for raid and farming eot will be too fast with 4 raids per week. 1 raid of 10/25 with posibillity to change difficulty before boss.( Example: my guild want to try lord jaraxxus hc in 10 man mode, lider can switch difficulty to hc and can bring again nm too) Good idea right?

Thats the problem here, judging based on numbers I feel like that dev team was not considering pug runs into heroic version. It will be very enjoyable in PVP to meet human melee cleave with double verdict which you dont have reach on as player without solid PVE guild...

No, that's stupid af. TOC is too short so let's reduce amount of raids from 4 to 2 4Head

And you will have all gear in max 4 weeks and after what? the point is not to get fast gear.

And what will you do with that gear if u won't be able to clear togc25 in first idk, month because of huge boosts?
