About Me

  1. Good day, I (Seamos) am looking for a English speaking social-leveling guild. Since the first day WoW went up I was a fan. But over the years the casualisation got me losing interest. I have discovered Sunwell a few days ago after the leveling on Lights Hope got me slightly bored. After a good discussion with a friend of mine I started to look for a private WoW-server pre Cata. And here I am. Some good reviews and research later I downloaded the client and got my account up and running. In Short: I am loving it after about 8 hours /played (on multiple characters). Now I have decided to level a warrior. I want to go Protection spec (because I love tanking) and i want to do so in a friendly, English speaking guild. Raiding is not on the agenda for me right now since I am still leveling and need a lot of catching up. But never say never. I am from the Netherlands and I will be spending a good amount of time on playing WoW. I work four days a week and when I don't work I play a lot of WoW. So I will be active and I would like to be a guild that is active aswell. As I have been second in command of one of the biggest guilds (EU) pre cata I expect a guild to be a helpfull and friendly environment. Not a second trade chat like some prefer. I would love to group up and dungeon with people and when it comes to gearing up at max lvl "pitching in" is my thing. I will run (tank) any dungeon for a guildy so they can get thier gear together for raiding. I also love PvP and will be going dual spec Arms/Def in the future to crack some allie skulls. And in that regard it wouldn't hurt to find people in the guild to go BG's If you'd like me in your roster hit me up in the game. My main is called Seamos and I am always up for a chat when I am not tanking a dungeon

    LF Causal/Lvling NA Guild

Hi, I'm new to the server and will be leveling a shadow priest! I have a lvl 33 druid and a lower level mage. I'd like to join a guild to talk to people and run dungeons with.
  3. I have an alt on a different account currently at level 60. I'd like to reach at least 70 through power leveling. I have a geared level 80 main - mage- on a different account. I'm curious if anyone has any similar setup but their main is a paladin or DK that can pull large sections of an instance for us to AOE down with out alt characters leeching up EXP. I've noticed people stop power leveling with instance at ~60 because the AOE gets too hard with only 1 character. I've also noticed that with my mage the AOE is insanely easy and it's just the surviving that's difficult as cloth.
  4. Hello, I am looking for players to create a guild based on a social game. Our main assumptions are: 1. No power leveling and multiboxing 2. We do not use Heirloom items 3. Focus on collecting achievements 4. Moving the classic-bc-wotlk content with the level stop / for achievements and future transmogs 5. Invasions to strategic horde villages 6. Guild Battlegrounds 7. Instances and raids at weekends 8. PvP events with cash prizes 9. Maximum 1 alt per one person 10. Active help and a common game Our expectations: 1. Be friendly and have a positive attitude 2. 100 Quests Completed 3. Become an Artisan in a profession It will not be a massive guild - the number of seats will be limited to 30-35 for the start. All interested please send a private message to the forum.

    [Basic Leveling Guide]

Welcome to Jogibear's very Basic Leveling Guide In this Guide I'll tell you things you can do to speed up leveling. 1. Questing Everyone knows how to quest but there are ways to speed it up a bit. Here are some: Always pick up EVERY quest in town. Try to not turn on PvP, you don't want to get ran over by Enemy players. Find a quest in the Wilderness? Pick it up. They most likely lead to a quick bit of XP. Group-Quests are Group-Quests. Find some people or a higher level player to help. Always mount up, no matter if its a 20 feet walk. PROTIP: If questing alone, dont listen to your favourite type of music. Try out something new or listen to some scary stories on youtube. I know it sounds child-ish but just try it out, its kinda relaxing and motivating in my opinion. (idk why tho lol) 2. Hearthstone Setting your [Hearthstone] is easy... But did you know you could use it in a convenient way? Always set your [Hearthstone] in or near your actual Quest-hub. Only use it once you've done all the quest that belong to your Quest-hub. That one's silly but DO NOT DESTROY YOUR [Hearthstone] lol 3. Dungeons Yes, dungeons speed up leveling... if you have the dungeon related quest. I'm not going to list real Tips here since you really only need the quests to make profit. Here's a Spreadsheet for Vanilla dungeon Quests. Im not sure if these still apply to WOTLK but most of them should be the same. (Rewards of course have different values in Wrath.) Spreadsheet powered by Google 4. Money The big business. More like the Auction House. Do not buy anything off of the Auction House. Never. Sell Materials like cloth on the Auction House to make some extra Moola. Do not sell any low level (1-70) items for high amounts of gold. This is not retail and there is no Transmogging. 5. Addons Funny little codes to make life easier and for some, questing faster! Quest Helper Alternative Quest Tracker with some features. Zoom This addon makes your game load faster. It clears the junk-data which other addons may have created. Autorepair Automatically repairs your Armor upon visiting a vendor. Sell-O-Matic Automatically sells all your grey items. TweakWoW Tweak your game to make it look better and run smoother! Bagnon One big bag instead of 4 small bags. Installing addons is easy: Download some Addon Drag Zip onto you desktop (if your download folder is messy) Unzip Addon.zip Open up you WoW directory (should be somewhat like C:\Games\WOTLK\) Head over to the Interface folder Now drag your Addon folder into the Addon folder (Download-links taken from rising-gods because I didnt find any provided by sunwell I hope they done sue me now lol) I hope this somewhat helps and that you now level 20 seconds faster than before. If you have anything to add, let me know by replying. Have a nice day!
