  1. Doing battlegrounds as Alliance is absolutely awful. Every single battleground Alliance starts outnumbered by at least one. Every time, sometimes more. And not only that, but your best geared player on Alliance is going to be out geared by the Horde's best geared player. Furthermore, it's not uncommon for the Alliance's best geared player to not even have as good of gear as the Horde's WORST geared player. It's unplayable. No amount of skill can over come the odds of not only being outnumbered, but also being grossly out geared at every position. Not only is it not fun for the Alliance, but there's no way it can be fun for Horde either. I just don't see how you guys (Horde) can enjoy rolling up on an Ally player with 6.5k - 7.5k hp 2v1 or 3v1, pressing 2 maybe 3 buttons TOPS, and then combat's over. In Warsong, about the only bg that you can get a queue to pop, there is so little combat, 90% of the game is an unkillable Tauren feral druid with 11k hp in cat form running flags while the rest of the Horde sits at base of ally tunnel and gy waiting/hoping for anything to happen. There's no way that's fun for anyone involved. And the worst part of all of this is, you can't fix it. There is really no solution to this. Alliance PVP on this server is just nonexistent. I wanted this server to be healthy but I don't think it can happen. Even if you had a sudden influx of like, 500-1000 alliance only players, it would still take an entire arena season before everyone was able to catch up gear wise. You wouldn't see balance until season 3 or something. RIP
  2. Really appreciate you posting and attempting to address the information or misinformation that might be out there. I don't really think people care so much anymore because they're actually able to play. It was pretty much just some unfortunate circumstances I feel like. I'm indeed from NA and have always had trouble with latency on private servers because they're always EU and I guarantee that it was a factor in being able to log in. That's about all I have to say and just wish everyone happy leveling/gearing. Peace.
  3. Maybe we could make this thread the compilation of info on everyone suspected of getting preferential treatment? I could keep it updated and stuff. That might make it easier to know with whom you should and should not work with.
  4. If you really care about the head start that a guild allegedly received (assuming that the head start was achieved through an unfair advantage) why not take matters into your own hands and boycott them and all its members? Just make it a point to figure out the names of the guild and its participants, spread the word as much as possible, and never play with them or buy from them/sell to them. If everyone cooperated together like this against them, it could ruin their experience the way that everyone else’s experience was ruined. Over time, the head start they got would balance back out and it would be to everyone’s credit and you could take satisfaction from having a real impact on the server and shaping it. The devs provide the world, but the community is a necessary part of this world. Without it the server is nothing, it has no soul, it’s basically equal to a toaster. You and I and everyone else here (once we’re finally able to make characters lol) give the server a voice, heart, and soul. The Nightbane experience thus far should play a huge role in banding everyone together over a common interest: to help each other succeed in the faces of those that sought to exploit an unfair advantage. Stop arguing with one another. Let’s come together on this and make this server something special for ourselves. We have power, too. Or at least we will once we can play.
