  1. what do you mean? seeing transmogged gear can be disabled? I actually find xmog somewhat anoying as you have to target the player again after seeing their gearlevel (which at first is too low due to gearscore reading the IDs of the xmogged models at first, not the IDs of the actual gear from the databases as I see it, - it's behavior makes me think that way).

    No Thanks Sunwell..here is why

you clearly don't feel his way as you don't get to feel the cry of his heart or not accept it. So you're then: "I don't care but i want to make fun of people who dare to blame the staff, /wink/wink/smirk/embarrass".

    Cheer up please.

Sunwell staff might've even not tried to catch them, it's just enough to wipe their results, nothing much. And at stable server they'd have to show their skills at leveling on a new server while aiming for the server firsts. And personally I think that 1 day for 58 block is too few. If people have true skill then they'd still get the first places even while having just 10 levels left till the result. So staff could change much more if they actually wanted it.

    Wipe the Server: POLL

i think he means the upcoming in January tbc server. I won't post the name of it to not advertise - got to know about it in the discord channel yesterday. People just spam it and threaten the admins that they'll go away from such a TBC start

    Wipe the Server: POLL

they don't seem to be wiping it, administrator Dredd said on discord: But I ask, shouldn't it be the players to actually decide whether to wipe or not? There's the results of those polls clearly stating that the majority, 2/3, are for the reset. We waited for long hours to get into the game and spammed the buttons all over again. It all means that we'd prefer to start it over again. But then those who were always online at that time indeed would be losing a lot of time from while they were leveling their chars. But then the majority of people still were losing their time, - and more unpleasantly btw. What is it at the admins' side that makes them not to wipe the server? Shouldn't they pay attention to the wishes of the majority of people? I'm not sure about all those VIP accesses, but the more i think, the more i'm getting convinced about it. And I sort of tend to abandon any such privileged servers, I'm even more okay with the donation for gear, but something of this caliber (if it's true), all this show, act. It's only left to get some more disconnets to get people sure that it's still unstable. But then it's pretty hard for the staff to proof that there weren't any of such sort manipulations in existance and that it all was due to chance (but it is somewhat unbelievable that a server start can be like that at our days and at those who already have 2 servers running). What I still find strange and what might be said for protecting the admins is that those admins who control the logon server should pretty much be able to just give the gold, levels, rates, gear to whoever they want to. Or they don't have the rights in that aspect? Though ofc some have different tastes and wish to just walk the virtual way as first ones and might be paying for that... I wonder if there's any chance of proving anything.
  6. I rly don't think it's enough or that it'll manage pretty much anything. Unless of course those around 40 level already don't need to sleep or smth. Getting more and more disappointed. If it's just for the realm-firsts then it's stupid cause you don't really compete with anyone as they're offline (and they're even streaming it). The resources are out there indeed. And the day 1 is sort of over after like 4 hours. Which gives them just enough time to reach that 58 level. BTW found a vote about server reset: https://www.strawpoll.me/16953553/r . Really doubt it'll do anything cuz so far my doubts are already around 70%
  7. the time out from the game stacks. Ofc when you can't just play all days long then you can be told as "what did you expect, it's a time-consuming game where the amount played increases the result". But as far as competition goes, there's always imbalances which are meant to be theres. But somehow we do keep on playing, doing PvP and PvE, closing our eyes on the stupidness of the situation (if you get it down and analyze it by bricks). Those who got from the 1st day knew that the server is gonna launch. And got prepared. You ofc can't expect that the ones who come later would get quickly through that gap. The balancing feature is the interest of those who plays the game. The feelings that the game brings, and analyzing feelings will get you lose a big part of those. I speak out of some emotions from my perspective. It might be one-sided but it is the most i care of and see at this moment. I still think that the wipe is a good idea. I want the play as fair as it can be, even though it's hard to be achieved.
  8. 1. I don't state it, i just merely point out the possibility. 2. True, it's just cause i can't play and i see that many can't play and i see that some actually CAN play and are at the mid levels already. So the disappointment arises after all those high expectations. Nothing much, nothing less.
  9. say for yourself or from where you got that idea? It's like "the majority" is what the certain group wants to say but in Discord you can see all the storm.
  10. those online are by far almost same as me, got the low levels which can be quickly regained back if the server is stable. And the wipe is pretty much the only possible guarantee that there's been no manipulations with the vip logins. Getting far from others is also not that awesome cuz you understand that there's no way most would be able to compete in the way the server didn't allow them to enter.
  11. read the Discord and see where all that comes from. It's not just me, there's a lot bunch of people feeling the same.
  12. i'd still prefer admins to do wipe, i was able to get to 9th level with all those problems and disconnects, all that nasty spamming and pretty much no sleep... On discord noticed that someone said that they did the wipe on some other realm after experiencing similar problems at the start of it.
  13. please i dont want to be rude. This is the big competition of some sort which happens far too rarely. It's not even just some another PvP arena season or PvE clear, it's a rare levelling competition in which there's lots of people involved. Ofc many don't care or don't even expect themselves to have slightest chances due to lack of time or wish (like with the PvP/achieves/Pve content, though theres always some ways of cheating and downgrading the achieve in the end, like levelling a char in a group to not have any offline time). Or you wanna say that you yourself are able to play this game happily with no competition at all and that you don't try to find another part of competiting? Recount results, bg or just PvP encounter wins, wins against mobs etc. And this levelling competition is just a part of the PvE content first-clears and of those who will get the "power" in both PvP and PvE contents. And funny how many can't even get into the game while retardedly spamming the buttons and typing in password while some people somehow stay online without being kicked and who gets the priority of log in or something.
  14. currently i'm only wondering if there'll be a wipe on this server, cuz if no then the realm firsts are just a joke due to this unavailability to even get in. And there's a screenshot going around in discord about some accounts already being at 30+ levels (and some of those belong to a group with the same guildname). I really wonder how they were able to stay online for such a long period of time or always get back on. Really hope there's no some sort of cash involved into such service.

    Unable to login

Sort of strange behaviour imo: server is up, but the population isn't big (457 accs atm judging by the site), also it dropped just to 2-digits now like 4min ago but the server continued having the uptime safe. And still can't enter. What's going on?
  16. it wasn't 9h to 1a as far as i remember, at least when i checked it before talent update. At least 3 alliance was and like 7 or less horde. But still remind that horde indeed has better racials for PvE and you don't really need many PvP guilds around, or at least i see PvP guilds being so much fewer than PvE on every server. Alliance has good racials for PvP, Stoneform is simply awesome in TBC imo. Horde has better racials for PvE in Wotlk as well and you can see how there's more horde than ally on Angrathar but still alliance is much more active in PvP. Dual talents changes will outbalance PvP to alliance by a too big margin imo. Yes, it'd help them getting into PvE content better and bringing more those players who prefer doing both sides of the game, but PvP would be imbalanced as far as i see it. And hardcore PvE will still be at horde mostly like it's on Angrathar.
  17. well, atm on Angra server there seems to be much more alliance activity in PvP. And if there's an option to always switch specs between PvP and PvE on alliance which is convenient enough (no additional need for gold farming) to be able to get into both PvP and PvE content much easier with best talents for those activities, then it really might create a big impact. While horde will have PvP spec in bgs just at the dedicated PvP players (which is a minority imo). Then it has a huge potential to outbalance battleground PvP to alliance side. If alliance had the Seal of Blood then i'd go to them, but all my thoughts are atm about only ret pala in TBC. Maybe hunter later, just for the BiS bow idea to be there, but SWP is rly too far away (I'm not even sure, i'll stay till then). But in the end, just knowing that alliance has a somewhat unfair advantage will turn my wish to do PvP down by pretty big margin, of that i am sure. That way it'd be better to just do PvE server so that it wouldn't have such an impact at world PvP. And then i'd unlikely switch between specs often (had a thought of trying holy pala as well) like i'm not willing to switch glyphs in Wotlk just for the right moment.
  18. I've played WoW for far too long and i think it made it's impact on how i see this stuff. I've seen p2w servers, almost haven't played on fun-servers, mostly played on x1-x3 ones. I think you might get the idea that i don't like "fun"-servers from this. You're too quick to judge. About how it is p2w, check my previous answers, or i just dunno what else to say. Maybe you see it differently. But let's say, you have lots of ways of spending gold already that requires you to do so so that you'd be on par with maybe not the..."hardcore" players, but just simple semi-hardcore raiders or even casual ones. And if "all you need is to just farm"... well let's say you have "just farm" for 3 months in same area so that you see some result. Would you fall for that? There was one situation not long ago about "just need to spend XXX time" in Star Wars game which led to a pretty huge uproar, when someone had counted all that up. Or just spend some cash and get an advantage of that same level. As far as i remember, TBC had lower prices overall comparing to Wotlk and even Wotlk has 1k gold requirement for the dual-spec. So don't you think that 2k in TBC (and not counting the thing that PvP or PvE spec have more benefit for their situations than the mixed spec, which many horde chars would have, so that will make the situation bad in PvP bgs at the very least, considering that alliance has alright racials for PvP). Autocompleted quests are just 3-5 in amount per day. How many do you do personally when you levelup? Or how many do you do at max level as dailies and do you rly like doing them over and over again? So i think it's a nice option to have more alliance players instead of a somewhat too beneficial dualspec for them. Rly, i'm pretty bored saying all the same again and again..
  19. 1. Think more. 2. It won't make it a fun server, why not consider x2 rate, x3 events etc as a fun server? Why all those discounts to keep balance between Ally-Horde? I offer just an option to auto-complete just cuz it covers by some point pretty much everything - mount issue (travelling to another area to just give the quest), bit higher exp rate from the quests which you don't want to do but still want the rewards/gold/items, more gold, option to do dailies in any spec, and just a convenience for those who don't have enough time for dailies to get at least some reputation. 3. I'm not against the dual-spec at all, i wouldn't even mind implementing more stuff from different addons, but only if it's on equal base for everyone. The issue of all that i have said before was: p2w. Or how come you didn't catch that?.. Or just trolling? True, I wouldn't go for that, at least now, but the issue was that he said "People will always buy gold..". You also didn't seem to catch the idea. Though maybe it's me who isn't able to really get it to everyone's minds by my usage of words. Or you see something which makes you angry, dunno.
  20. I already stated the point that it doesn't seem interesting enough for me to be playing if there's pretty much any traces of p2w content. Thus I still doubt i'd play in there as of now, while the criterias are still being modified (though not playing on WOTLK already due to loss of interest, just somewhat curious as to how it'll turn out with the TBC server release). imagine a guy who has never-ever spent cash onto online games or have never used cheats at online games. Unbelievable, right? But well, developers do need cash, so i guess it's not that important to deal with the needs of an exception.
  21. there's just really too much things i could say about that. There's every expansion in which you have to work to get geared. And don't forget that there's x2 rates already, why not x1 rate? You have to work hard for it, right? So why? Or why is there more conveniences like variety of spells when you could just hit mobs with a wand, or auto-hit those (and fail most of the times). Or why is there so much rare items that some don't even wish to start farming for, that might require you unlimited tries to get those? There's just too much to say. I don't even want to get started on this rly unnecessary topic. Do you want to get your life much-much harder to start respecting it? Or will you start feeling disgust towards it due to it's "hardcoredness"? And btw, i value presents (tho maybe cuz they are rare) much more than if i'd work for those and buy them myself. Knowing what you had to lose to obtain those additional items. Or for example why wouldn't you not use the mount to just walk around?.. It seems that i have actually started it..oh well, let's end it.
  22. I think you can understand also from the whole situation that there's always a bigger picture that we can't rly grasp whole. I wrote about an option in where it would be considered as p2w from my PoV (that post of mine which you quoted). I offered another way in the Summary topic - make some quests for a daily auto-complete option. It is close, saves gold, higher rep etc etc, but it's somewhat of lesser advantage so-to-say, and feels to me as really just a time-saving feature. You lose many quests due to x2 rates anyway so why care when you can just auto-complete like 3-5 more per day. It's quite a few but it might be enough to bring you donations just cuz it's convenient. I support the server by playing on it and making the community bigger and trying to be nice to others. The option to always being able to switch spec while others can't... I sadly don't remember how much gold you can easily farm up in TBC but there's already many ways of spending it (profs, mounts, all the enchants, gems etc). And if there's always some one-way where you can auto-reset talents but it costs somewhat a lot and still greed doesn't allow you to reset it all the time casually (and you won't get enough gold for that i think, so will stick to the PvP-PvE mix-spec), then it's not all that great. It makes the person somewhat need to farm for it to have a base option to balance with others. PvP spec does differ from PvE.
  23. Got some idea: make an option for alliance to auto-complete like 3-5 (or some other number) quests per day (not raid ones ofc, maybe not even the dungeon ones, just regular/daily/group ones i'd say). This will bring them less farm for reputation, more gold, they'll get an option to do some quests in tank/heal specs, while levelling they might not require to run to the other side of the gameworld to complete a quest, quicker class-quests, just a bit higher rates (but still convenient) etc. Also this will help newer players to roll for alliance when they want to catch up faster. Imo rly a brilliant idea but ofc there might be some flaws in it. I wonder how many uses the x1 rate option of Wotlk server but it is still in there (that's if someone thinks that they don't want to use it).
  24. I'm feeling the same. Usually when having one single spec & when being low on gold & when wishing to do both PvE and PvP, people would most likely use the mixed spec (not a true PvP, not a true PvE spec). This leads to having much less advantage in either PvE and PvP. And making some sort of VIP dual specs is too nasty, cuz it somewhat gives quite some advantage in reality. Also in PvP alliance has quite alright racials, I even can't decide which race hunter I'd want to make in there. And overall it would turn the balance to alliance side in terms of PvP, at least for the battlegrounds and lower arena rates. I'd even prefer to rolling alliance if it'd make you not implement this system. I wanted to go Horde though just cuz i want a retri pala (have played as him back in the days) and that they have Seal of Blood (tho that one ability still gives preference to the PvE retribution imo due to giving more mana from heals). And having just one BE paladin (i don't really like their looks+animations much) and other alliance chars is quite hard due to the unavailability of transferring gold between those two factions (not considering neutral AH as I don't wish to pay the additional taxes for using those). I want to point out the fact that it won't really change everything and if changes, in some aspects it's too much of a p2w.
